Frequently asked questions.

  • Each session is designed to meet individual needs and goals and begins with a discussion about boundaries, intentions, and what the client hopes to explore.

The first session is primarily focused on establishing trust and clarity around goals, boundaries, and comfort levels. This may involve an in-depth conversation about personal history, specific challenges, and desires. It sets the foundation for ongoing work. In subsequent sessions, clients may dive deeper into somatic practices such as breathwork, body awareness, and movement, with each session building upon the last as comfort and trust grow.

A session can involve conversation with a combination of modalities such as breathwork, guided movement, sensate focus and body-based exercises that focus on tuning into the body’s sensations. The structure is always flexible and depends on what feels comfortable and right for you. All modalities are practiced with a focus on client safety, consent, and boundaries.

Sessions are not a substitute for therapy, and I encourage all my clients to work with a licensed mental health professional alongside this work.

While some modalities are body-based, I do not perform genital touch in sessions. My role is to guide and support clients as they reconnect with their bodies and desires in a way that feels safe and empowering.

You can consult my professional Association's Code of Ethics here.

  • My services are for adults of all ages and genders.

I welcome people who are exploring their identity and want access to a safe space for self-discovery and expansion.

I do not work with children or youth.

  • While traditional therapy often focuses on verbal discussion, intimacy education incorporates the body as a core part of the healing and learning process. Rather than only talking through issues, somatic practices help clients experience their bodies in new ways, providing a deeper connection to sensations, desires, and emotions. Intimacy education complements talk therapy by focusing on embodiment and practical, body-based solutions.

Intimacy education is not only for addressing specific sexual challenges, but also for those who want to enhance their pleasure, improve their communication skills with partners, or simply expand their understanding of their body and desires. This work helps people at all stages of their sexual journey, whether addressing specific concerns or looking to grow and explore.

  • Unfortunately sessions are currently not covered in Canada, even if you were referred to me by a medical professional.

However, I am currently in training to obtaining my Registered Professional Counsellor designation, which will allow me to accept extended health benefits in BC by early 2026.

To increase the accessibility of my services, sessions are priced on a sliding scale using the Green Bottle model. Please contact me before booking if you self-identify with tiers 1-2 on that sliding scale.

Sliding scales thrive on trust, I do not ask for verification and I trust my clients to be honest in their assessment of their economic reality.
